Female Genital Mutilation surgeons in Uganda are asking government and international partners to offer them an alternative source of income so that they can quit the practice. Traditional surgeon Macdaline Chemose says they earn a living from the circumcision exercise. The Press conference was part of the UNFPA and UNICEF consultative meeting on FGM and the global programme on Early Child marriage taking place in Kampala.
