Fall just arrived in Switzerland and its pouring outside. If you’ve got the same weather conditions, I hope this video will brighten up your day! And for all the others already having a good day I hope it still triggers some happy feelings inside you 😉
I just recently visited Singapore and chose Qatar Airways to get me there. I booked the whole trip in economy class for about 500.- USD. Shortly before my trip I got an email with an upgrade offer for the Doha-Singapore leg for another 500.- USD. I thought you guys deserve a Qatar Airways business class review so I booked it. Another reason was the aircraft flying that route, the brand new Airbus A350. It has been on my list for a bit longer and I finally got to fly it.
The first leg was from ZRH to DOH, I made a short vlog about that flight, please watch it here:
So thats how I got to Doha and as you can see that is exactly where this review begins. Since I flew business I had access to the beautiful and impressive al mourjan business class lounge. It’s a huge lounge in the heart of the terminal with many different seating areas, a wide choice of food and plenty of fun things to do. They even have a gaming room there! I was there during my 6 hour night layover that’s why it’s not too busy. But the lounge filled up pretty good in the early morning hours. Nevertheless still enough space for me to rest well and enjoy some first class cappuccino!
Once again I had the pleasure to board my plane through one of the bus gates, 90% of my flights in and out of Doha have been through bus gates so not much has changed from the old airport. I don’t really care since you get a great view while riding the bus!
The business class product on their A350 is amazing. All aisle access seats!! Most important to make a good business class seat IMO. The FA’s were absolutely fantastic, very attentive and always made me feel well appreciated! They were curious about me filming everything so I told them and they liked me even more!
The seat is really comfortable and goes fully lie flat! It offers a good amount of privacy and plenty of storage. Nothing to complain about their business class product!
The food was great too. Since this was an early morning flight they offered full breakfast and lighter snacks. It was an a la carte style service, they had couple of items and you could order them whenever you felt hungry. I had a small breakfast and a snack before the landing. I wasn’t really hungry but had to try their food! It was delicious, fresh and well presented.
All in all a very nice experience aboard Qatar Airways! Totally recommend it.
