Get along with everyone is a lie test- the quantify how honest you are on
    the basis of these.

Not everyone wants to hire an extrovert. Extroverts are
timewasters….they spend less time working and more time hanging around
the water cooler talking! Introverts are more introspective and hard
working and produce a lot more quality work without distractions of talking
to everyone who walks by your desk. There are benefits to either E or I, N
or S, T or F, J or P. There are no right answers in these tests, except of
course the morality questions about taking office supplies/stealing.

Personality tests are fucking bullshit. Strongly Agree Agree Neither
Agree nor Disagree Disagree or Strongly Disagree

Pre-employment personality test is nothing but a game, you have to beat the
game to get the job you want. Do not take the test contents too seriously.

GREAT. I LOVE to work with a company of people who are utterly and
completely out of touch with reality.

    True or False

No wonder why I do really bad on these things. I’m totally one with
reality. The people who make these tests are probably totally sick and
demented and one with the Illuminati no doubt and they’re looking for
somebody who will sell their souls to them. Why am I not surprised?

As a recruiter, I can tell you there is a huge flaws with this video. First
it’s assuming all jobs are looking for one type of person, out going,
extroverts. These people are horrible for many types of jobs: editors,
    draftsmen, night janitors, etc….

Second, if being a “people person” is a requirement for the job and you are
not one but, lie to get the job. At best you’ll now have a job you hate,
at worse you’ll shortly get fired which will only make your resume look
    worse.

Third, your assuming you know what the hiring manager is looking for. I’ve
been hired more than once because of the following situation. A company has
a customer service position, so they keep hiring highly extroverted people,
but found they are good, but highly inconsistent, so they want to try
someone more middle of the road (like you). So, you could lie yourself out
    of a job.

Fourth and most importantly test developers don’t live in a bubble, they
know the internet is full of how to cheat advice like this and are
constantly redesigning their tests identify cheaters. If you used this
advice on the assessment we give…you’d be quickly found out.

In the end it’s rare that the personality assessment is the deciding
factor. It’s only part of an overall process. If your consistently getting
that far in the process but not getting the job, there are more than likely
    bigger issues at play.

Thanks to Ted Kennedy, forcing people to take polygraph tests was outlawed
in 1988. There are some exceptions, for example if one is going in to law
    enforcement.

These things are worse. The only people endorsing their accuracy are the
people who make money selling them.

If they are so accurate, then every politician should be forced to take
one. I would start with my two senators and congresswoman.

What if your an introvert that has a high attention to detail, works long
hours without rest, stays focused, is systematic, and analytical and didn’t
get the job for a not so extrovert position? Well sorry employer you have
just missed out on a candidate that could have been one of the best
employees your company has ever had. Eat my dust!

This is brilliant. Thank you for saying what I’ve been thinking all along.
I actually failed a test to work at Radio Shack, and I have a degree in
Recording Engineering. And to add insult to injury, they actually said,
“Our test shows evidence that you were being dishonest in your answers.”
Yes. A computer accused me of lying. The funny part is that I actually had
the approach that I would just tell the truth and answer each question as
honestly, seriously and soberly as possible. I was always told, and raised,
to just be honest and everything will work out. But Radio Shack apparently
has a MAGIC COMPUTER that can read my heart at such an intimate level that
even I am deceived by my own self, but the computer, MAGIC COMPUTER knows
alllllllll. Almighty Radio Shack truth seeing computer. Hail Radio Shack!
