Is Self Employment Right for You ? #business #selfemployment @HotspotShield
i just started off!! really very motivational!!!!
I’m 15 years old, and its my dream to run my own buisness at one point in
my life. I think being your onw chief is much better than being employeed,
since you can everthing the way you want and bring your own ideas to live.
Awesome video, Dave.
Excellent videos & thoughts Dave can relate to it and it’s not easy being
self-employed been doing that now for almost 17 years now and every now and
then I feel at times you have to keep pushing and motivate yourself and
of-course you have to have a passion for what you are doing.
What about working on the stock market?
Thanks for the video. After owning a startup company a few years ago, I
found I enjoyed being self employed. And now I’m starting a YouTube channel
of my own. Still working out the initial set up, and how it’s done, but I
believe I’ll get there in the long run.
Very informative video! Trying to get a Twitch channel off the ground and
this helped a bunch! Thanks! <3
The time i have spent on Youtube recently i found that many and many people
want to be self employed. They want to work in the field they love and not
do a forced job. YouTube is serving a good medium for them.
The case is different in my place. Here the very thought of self employment
is frightening . Also the matter of prestige and reputation comes into
place. Working as a engineer or doctor or manager in considered a more
respectable job. Most of the times these people are treated as kings and
queen’s. But the case is different with the bussiness owner. Even if they
earn more than these people , they are not given the same respect. some
times the business man himself feel guilty of not being a engineer or
doctor.
Great video!
I have seen a chriss perillo vlog where he was upset and you have commented
on it. May be the thoughts in this video are coming from there. I have also
watched chris’s patreon video. In that video chriss took a very different
approach of asking support. And may be that pissed off many people. This
was even evident in the comments.
The time has become very different. People now want every thing free. The
hunger is so high that they donot realise that nothing comes free. You guys
do a lot of hard work and a support here and there is justified. People
whose minds are cloaked with hatred and jealousy will not understand this.
Hi Dave. I myself am self employed. This is my second go at running my own
business. In 1997 I began a concrete construction business. It was
moderately successful until 2008 when the housing market crash here killed
it. Last year I started my second go around. I am a builder/general
contractor now and my business name is Phoenix Construction. Very
appropriate I think. For me, self employment is the best career option
there is. I just love being in charge of my own destiny!
I am 16 years, driven and deeply passionate to get into the film industry
self-employed.
great video Dave!
Hi Dave, great video again. I’m 17 and currently working on setting up an
IT Consultancy with the help of the government grant schemes here in the
UK. I’m totally with you on how hard it is for college students and uni
graduate’s to find work hence why I’ve jumped on the opportunity ! Be good
to have a chat about things sometime and I hope you enjoy the rest of your
week!
I’m self employed. I manage just fine. I actually don’t need anymore
clients. Growing is not in my interest. Money doesn’t drive my interests at
all.
Self employment is great! Thanks for the video Dave! Passion and drive for
what ever it is a self employed is involved in, is a must and then
understanding customers and reaching out to them is important. I love being
self employed and promoting my business! Also the freedom that it brings is
fantastic!
I know education is not for everyone, but everything can happen. And having
a backup plan is better than not having it. In that case, education is your
backup plan. That’s just my opinion. To be successful you need not only an
education in certain field, but something on your mind, in your head or
whatever. Like Dave said, passion and determination.
Great video as always 🙂
Very valid point to bring up. I’m in education at the moment, hopefully
going to uni this year to do a History degree. I realise that History
degrees are limited in certain aspects – but teaching is a possibility,
particularly for those who are passionate about the subject. In today’s
world, however, what with the teaching strikes etc, other professions, or
even self-employment, are very sensible options. Besides, you need an
enjoyable life, and not one that drags you out of bed – like you said.
Brilliant video Dave. Self employment is not as easy as some people think,
but you are right if you have the passion it will not seem hard or like a
job. I have seen many people try to go into business for themselves only to
fail be cause they did it just for the money.
Self employment is great :)
I agree with you Dave, self employment is great. But you have to put in a
lot of work. And in many cases it’s much harder to just getting a job. But
the rewards are great.
Hi +Geekanoids I am now supporting you on Patreon.
Wow amazing video and advice. Thanks Dave!
Not self employed yet but working my way towards that goal.
Been unemployed for about three year (56) and looking at self employment !
Any ideas, or thoughts on the best self employment opportunities.
